Buffalo, NY - Neighborhood Housing Services of South Buffalo is proud to announce the awarding of a grant by NYS Affordable Housing Corporation (AHC) to further housing rehabilitation efforts in the South Buffalo area. AHC is distributing funds across the state in a bid to stimulate the construction and renovation of nearly two thousand affordable homes statewide.

Buffalo, NY – Neighborhood Housing Services of South Buffalo is proud to announce our
accreditation by the US Department of Justice and United States Trustees to offer budget and
credit counseling. This new service will provide residents of WNY with counseling needed when
considering bankruptcy. NHS of South Buffalo will begin offering this service immediately and
will continue for six months when a decision to continue the program will be made.

Buffalo, NY – Neighborhood Housing Services of South Buffalo is proud to announce the award of funding from the Citizens Bank Foundation for its new money management training program, appropriately titled “Financial Fitness”. The class, offered by NHS of South Buffalo, will assist local residents to better manage their money in these difficult economic times. Participants will learn the concepts of budgeting, developing a savings plan, getting out of the credit trap and more.

conducted from June 22nd through August 13th.
